This is a pressure-operated water regulating valve (also called a condenser water valve). It has a brass body with two female threaded ends for the water pipe, a blue bellows housing on top, and a pressure connection on the bottom with a red protective cap.
It is mainly use to controls the flow of cooling water through a water-cooled condenser. When the condenser pressure rises, the valve opens and sends more water. When the pressure falls, it closes and saves water. This keeps the condensing pressure steady, protects the compressor from high pressure and saves water.
