Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) with External Equalizer, R22 / R407C for Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning

This is a thermostatic expansion valve (TXV or TEV) for refrigeration systems. It has a brass body, a diaphragm head, a remote sensing bulb on a long capillary tube, and a flare-type connection. The valve is supplied in its original carton with a bulb clamp and fixing kit, as shown in the photos.

It is use in controls how much liquid refrigerant enters the evaporator, so the evaporator works efficiently. The bulb is clamped to the evaporator outlet pipe and senses the gas temperature. The valve opens or closes to match the cooling load. It protects the compressor from liquid refrigerant.
