Refrigeration Ball Valve, Brass Body with Copper Solder Connections for Marine Refrigeration

This is a ball valve made for refrigeration systems. It has a brass body and two copper solder (ODF) connections, one on each end. A ball with a hole through it sits inside the body. When the stem is turned, the ball opens or closes the line, so it works as a manual shut-off valve.

it is use in shuts off the refrigerant flow so that a part of the plant can be isolated for service, repair or replacement. It is fitted in the liquid line, suction line, discharge line or hot-gas line of the refrigeration system.

It is used before and after compressors, filter driers, solenoid valves, expansion valves and evaporators, so these parts can be changed without emptying the whole plant.
