Automatic Ignition & Flame Safeguard Control Unit for Burners
This is a burner sequence controller (flame safeguard control) used to automate and supervise the start-up, ignition, and shutdown sequence of oil or gas burners.
It monitors flame presence via a photocell/sensor and controls ignition timing, pre-purge, and safety lockout functions, tripping to a safe shutdown if flame is not detected within the set safety time (tv 67.5s).
It's commonly used in industrial and marine boiler systems to ensure safe, automated burner operation and prevent unburned fuel build-up.
