This is an open-type reciprocating refrigeration compressor. The compressor is separate from its drive motor and is driven by a double-groove V-belt pulley. It has one air-cooled, finned cylinder, a bolted cylinder head with suction and discharge service valves, a crankcase with mounting feet and a nameplate on the side.
It is used in compresses refrigerant gas and keeps the refrigeration cycle running also It is used in ship provision cold rooms, small marine refrigeration plants, ship air-conditioning and shore cold storage and replacement or standby compressor for existing plants.
